A photo of my father with my older brother in his New York apartment in 1960 was the inspiration behind conVIDA Cocktail Lounge. Welcome to Puerto Rico’s first & only gin lounge created by a woman, located in the heart of Caguas. At conVIDA, we offer handcrafted vintage cocktails, capturing the essence of the 1960s, a decade marked by cultural and social changes, a renewed interest in cocktail culture, and the rise of gin as a beloved spirit. We’ve incorporated the unique design aesthetics of the mid-century era to create a nostalgic and authentic atmosphere that our guests enjoy.
Our lounge is the perfect setting for an intimate evening with friends or a romantic date night. We offer iconic dishes from the era, such as Beef Wellington and Chicken à la King, as well as modern favorites like vegetarian pizza and decadent desserts like crème brûlée. We also specialize in hosting private events, from cocktail-making classes to celebrations with your loved ones. Our hospitality is unmatched, making us one of the best venues for intimate groups. En conVIDA ofrecemos cócteles vintage artesanales, rescatando la esencia de la década de 1960, una época marcada por cambios culturales y sociales, con un renovado interés en la cultura del cóctel y la popularidad de la ginebra. Hemos incorporado la estética única del diseño de mediados de siglo para crear una atmósfera nostálgica y auténtica que nuestros invitados disfrutan.
Nuestro "lounge" es el lugar ideal tanto para una noche íntima entre amigos como para una cita romántica. Why vintage glassware? Serving gin cocktails in vintage glassware adds a unique touch to our mid-century gin bar and enhance the overall experience for our guests. Vintage glassware from the mid-century era often has a distinct design and style that complements the atmosphere of conVIDA. Using vintage glassware evokes a sense of nostalgia and make guests feel as though they've stepped back in time. Some of our pieces are rare and valuable. Maybe you can sip in style from one of my Culvert & Libbey glassware from the 50s & 60s.

Much of the space is the work of local designer Raizaliz Hernández, inspired by the Atomic Era.
